RECYCLE ALL YOUR PAPER, PLASTIC, METAL AND GLASS
Below please find a list of what CAN'T currently be recycled.
GLASS - laboratory glass, crystal & opaque drinking glasses, light bulbs, spectacles, mirrors, windshields, window panes, heat-resistant ovenware (for example, Pyrex), ceramic cups, clay garden pots, plates and pottery.
PLASTIC - badly contaminated plastic, tupperware, toothpaste tubes, sticky tape, degradable plastic (for example, Albany's bread bags), chip packets and sweet papers, large plastic items such as garden furniture and piping.
PAPER & CARDBOARD - soiled paper and cardboard, fax paper, waxed cardboard frozen meal boxes, dog food/potato/charcoal thick paper bags and waxed, glued, plastic or foil coated cardboard or paper.
MIXED MATERIALS - Items made of mixed materials such as CDs, foil-lined packets, waxed paper and cardboard are not recyclable.
HAZARDOUS HOUSEHOLD WASTE - Items that contain toxic substances such as chemicals, paints, motor oil or solvents cannot be recycled.
