YES RECYCLING!

Earth Green's recycling collection services in Durban ran from December 2008 to November 2009 collecting a wide range of recyclables as well as supporting local community art projects. From December 2009, Earth Green handed over the collection of recyclables to YES RECYCLING who now service Morningside, Berea, Glenwood, Manor Gardens and Umbilo! DSW/MONDI INITIATIVE

Earth Green Recycling encouraged the Durban Solid Waste and MONDI initiative which has now taken off in Durban. The orange bag initiative is expanding to collect recyclables from all areas in Durban. Initially this has begun with paper and plastic only but more recyclable material will be phased in. For more information on collections in your area call Lungi at DSW on 031-3118804.

Although Earth Green Recycling has closed it's operations, the members continue to be involved with the KZN Waste Minimisation Forum and are constantly researching and trying to find new ways of encouraging and supporting sustainable living.
